"We who live in this nervous age would be wise to meditate on our lives and our days long and often before the face of God and on the edge of eternity. For we are made for eternity as certain as we are made for time, and as responsible moral beings we must deal with both." A. W. Tozer

In a world and time that focus' so much on material success and outward appearances, we often do not take time for introspection. We put so much energy into trying to feed a desire in us that simply can not be satisfied except by the One who created that desire.
We are all in a cloud of delusion of sorts. Most behave as if we will live forever. The reality is our time on earth is but a vapor. The reason we think we will live forever is that God has written eternity on our hearts. Our spirits live forever. This is why we thirst for eternal life. Imagine eternity..... our choices now directly affect eternity. The things that are seen are temporal, but the things that are not seen are eternal, so which one is real?
